Mountain Ruck

The shoulder straps sit way better than the old military-style packs I’ve used, and the whole thing feels bombproof without being overly stiff. Took it on a wet weekend hike and the fabric shrugged off the rain like nothing, which is exactly what I needed.

The main compartment swallows all my climbing gear with room to spare, and the frame transfer makes heavy loads feel effortless on the trail. It's clearly built to outlast me, which is exactly what I wanted from a pack that still looks and carries like the classic design.

Finally ditched my old military surplus pack and this one's a total upgrade. The ALICE shape fits my frame way better, and the extra structure in the shoulder straps makes hauling gear uphill feel almost effortless. Got two long day hikes in already and it's held up perfectly.
